Hot Air Balloon RidesWe will meet at our office north of Brownsburg for all of our flights. We will then inflate the balloon in the yard next to the office. After the balloon is inflated we will float over Southern Boone and Northern Hendricks Counties for approximately an hour. After landing we will return to our meeting location and have a celebratory toast. All of our flights are shared flights meaning that you may be sharing the basket with other people. However, if you would like a more romantic setting please call our office to discuss a private flight. The price is per passenger. The weight limit per passenger is 250 pounds. If a passenger exceeds this weight, there may be a need to purchase a second fare. Please call our office to discuss prior to booking. All flights are subject to weather and may be rescheduled if necessary. We typically operate between April 1 and October 31. Hot Air Balloon TethersHot air balloon tethers are great for parties or corporate gatherings. We tie the balloon to 4 anchor points and allow the balloon to float up about 50-75 feet. We have two different balloons that can take up to about 60 people per hour. Each event is unique and we would love to discuss the needs of your event. Weddings and Vow RenewalOur Chief Pilot is licensed in the State of Indiana to perform weddings. We can do the ceremony inflight. We can also do the ceremony and then take off from the wedding site. Corporate Events and AdvertisingWe can attach banners to both our basket and our balloon. There is nothing more attention-getting than a flying billboard. We can also take some key employees during advertising flights. These are great for company promotions and employee incentives. Cancellation Policy
WEATHER FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS
The sport of ballooning is entirely weather-dependent! We do our best to contact you as soon as the need to reschedule for inclement weather arises. As a general guideline, if the winds are greater than 6-8 mph, or it is raining or there are thunderstorms in the area, in the interest of safety, we will cancel and reschedule at your earliest convenience. The pilot has the final authority to cancel a flight.
PASSENGER FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS
If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your flight, we will issue a gift card which can be used to book another date on our website.
For cancelations initiated by the passenger, cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled ride, there is no charge to reschedule the ride.
If the cancellation is made within 7 days of the scheduled ride, there will be a $50 per passenger rescheduling fee.
REFUNDS
We will gladly refund reservations made within 30 days of booking if the reservation is made at least 30 days prior to the flight. No refunds will be made after 30 days of booking or within 30 days of your flight, whichever comes first.
The refund will be made in the original payment method and to the original purchaser only.
TETHER, PROMOTIONAL, AND SPECIAL EVENT CANCELLATIONS
Because ballooning is entirely weather-dependent, we will attempt to reschedule the event. If the event cannot be rescheduled due to factors beyond Marvel Ballooning's control, all payments made will be non-refundable.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Full payment is required upon arrival for the event.
GIFT CARDS
Gift card sales are final and non-refundable. Gift cards are valid for as long as Marvel Ballooning is in business.
THE FINE PRINT
Payment methods include cash, credit card, or personal or business check. If any payment is returned for insufficient funds, a 10% fee will apply plus any service charges incurred.
