Hot Air Balloon Rides We will meet at our office north of Brownsburg for all of our flights. We will then inflate the balloon in the yard next to the office. After the balloon is inflated we will float over Southern Boone and Northern Hendricks Counties for approximately an hour. After landing we will return to our meeting location and have a celebratory toast. All of our flights are shared flights meaning that you may be sharing the basket with other people. However, if you would like a more romantic setting please call our office to discuss a private flight. The price is per passenger. The weight limit per passenger is 250 pounds. If a passenger exceeds this weight, there may be a need to purchase a second fare. Please call our office to discuss prior to booking. All flights are subject to weather and may be rescheduled if necessary. We typically operate between April 1 and October 31. If you are looking for a flight outside of this time, please call our office to discuss your needs.  $400 Per Passenger

Hot Air Balloon Tethers Hot air balloon tethers are great for parties or corporate gatherings. We tie the balloon to 4 anchor points and allow the balloon to float up about 50-75 feet. We have two different balloons that can take up to about 60 people per hour. Each event is unique and we would love to discuss the needs of your event. Weddings and Vow Renewal Our Chief Pilot is licensed in the State of Indiana to perform weddings. We can do the ceremony inflight. We can also do the ceremony and then take off from the wedding site. Corporate Events and Advertising We can attach banners to both our basket and our balloon. There is nothing more attention-getting than a flying billboard. We can also take some key employees during advertising flights. These are great for company promotions and employee incentives. Cancellation Policy

Hot-air ballooning is weather-dependent, and the safety of our passengers and crew always comes first. Please review the following policies before booking.

Weather-Related Flight Cancellations

Marvel Ballooning closely monitors the weather and will notify you as soon as reasonably possible if your flight must be postponed.

Flights may be canceled due to rain, thunderstorms, winds generally exceeding 6–8 mph, or any other condition the pilot determines may affect safety. The pilot has final authority over all flight decisions.

If Marvel Ballooning cancels your passenger flight because of weather, you may reschedule for another available date without a rescheduling fee.

Passenger Cancellations

If you need to cancel your passenger flight, the value of your reservation will be issued as a Marvel Ballooning gift card that may be used to book another available date through our website.

More than 7 days before your scheduled flight: No rescheduling fee.

If cancelled within 7 days of your scheduled flight: A $50 rescheduling fee per passenger will apply.

Refunds

A reservation is eligible for a refund only when: (1) the refund is requested within 30 days after the reservation was made; and (2) the request is made at least 30 days before the scheduled flight.

No refunds will be issued after 30 days from the original booking date or within 30 days of the scheduled flight, whichever occurs first.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method and issued only to the original purchaser.

Tethered Events, Promotional Appearances, and Special Events

Because ballooning is weather-dependent, Marvel Ballooning will make reasonable efforts to reschedule an event that cannot safely proceed.

If the event cannot be rescheduled because of weather or other circumstances beyond Marvel Ballooning’s control, all payments made will remain non-refundable.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due upon arrival for the event.

Gift Cards

All gift-card sales are final and non-refundable. Gift cards remain valid for as long as Marvel Ballooning continues to operate.

Payment Terms

Marvel Ballooning accepts cash, credit cards, and personal or business checks.

If a payment is returned for insufficient funds, a fee equal to 10% of the returned payment will apply, together with any service charges incurred by Marvel Ballooning.
